Natural Fibreboard Panels: Naxan UPB
“Lightweight, durable, water-resistant fibreboard for external and internal application”
Wood panelling is visually appealing but with temperature change it is susceptible to rot, warping, bulges, cracks, swelling and splinters over time. This can result in costly repair or replacement bills.
Naxan UPB is completely different to the traditional plywood, particle, MDF or HDF boards. It is an eco-friendly high performance natural fibre composite board with thermoforming properties.
The boards come in sheet size of 2440 x 1220mm and thickness ranging from 4 to 20mm with a density of 600kg/m³.

Naxan UPB has exceptional durability and stability characteristics for applications in areas exposed to excessive moisture, humidity and challenging weather conditions such as coastal and beach front buildings.
Unlike traditional timber boards, the Naxan UPB is water resistant, does not rot, swell, splinter or decay. It is 100% recyclable and low maintenance. It can be processed and handled like wood – cut, sanded, milled, glued, drilled, sawed and painted.
The board can also be routed and machine-cut, including thermoformed for design flexibility and customised for a wide range of exterior and internal applications.
With the large sheet format, the board is suitable for use as door skin, window and door trims, soffits and eaves, wall linings in bathrooms and showers, alfresco kitchen and ceilings, and speciality outdoor furniture.
Naxan UPB provides architects, designers and builders with flexible panelling solutions compared to other timber and composite materials. It comes prefinished with colour variations in smooth or woodgrain textured surface.
