A state-of-the-art German innovation, our eco-friendly decking is made of natural fibre from the hard protective husk of rice and polymer reinforced with proprietary fillers.
Naxan Decking can be sanded, stained and sealed just like timber and repaired when damaged. It comes brush-finished with water-based coloured stains and is environment friendly and recyclable.
It does not get hot on its surface and is resistant to rot, fungal attack and termites. It does not swell, splinter or crack in harsh weather conditions and when exposed to salt and chlorine water.
With a BAL-40 fire rating for bushfire prone areas, our eco-friendly decking Naxan offers exceptional durability, strength, stability, speed of installation and low maintenance.
Naxan Decking contains no scrap wood or reused plastics and does not have that “waxy” feel like wood plastic composite alternatives. Its natural timber appearance makes it easy to adapt and integrate into the existing environment.
In accelerated aging tests using aggravated weather conditions equivalent to 15 years, the Naxan Decking showed no signs of degradation, exceeding the performance of hardwood and other composite materials.
For those who prefer tropical timber decking like merbau but do not want the maintenance and durability issues, Naxan Decking is the ideal alternative.
